Supporting NVIDIA HGX H100 with 8 x SXM5 GPUs in a pull-out drawer, the Gigabyte G593-SD1 GPU Server is compatible with NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs or SuperNICs. Additionally, the 5U NVIDIA-Certified System features a 900GB/s GPU-to-GPU bandwidth with NVIDIA NVLink Technology and NVSwitch. Under the hood, the platform deploys dual 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors including the Intel Xeon CPU Max Series. Above the system fans on the front panel there are 8x 2.5" Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays, plus I/O ports such as 2x USB 3.2 Gen1, 2x 10GbE LAN ports, 1x VGA port, and 1x MLAN.
5th gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs will provide up to 64 cores each with a maximum thermal design power range of up to 350W. Using intel MAX CPUs will deliver up to 56 cores each. Ideal for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads, the Gigabyte G593-SD1 Server provides a total of 32x memory module slots supported by the Intel CPUs 8-channel memory architecture. Using standard DDR5 RDIMMs it can deliver up to 3TB of memory or up to 8TB of memory using 3DS RDIMM at 256GB each. Memory speeds will depend on the memory configuration and CPU.
The system's 4+2 3000W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supplies, 4 FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, and 8 LP PCIe Gen5 x16 slots are accessible to administrators from the back of the device. A dedicated RJ45 management LAN port on the front of the chassis provides access to the Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller for remote management of the system. The Gigabyte Management Console uses the AMI MegaRAC SP-X web interface for management of a single system. Alternatively, the Gigabyte Server Management software suite offers a variety of tools to help Administrators manage clusters of servers over the Internet and offers a number of other utilities like a mobile app, command line interface and plugin for support of VMware vCenter.
