NVIDIA TITAN RTX GPU - System Overview

Description

Nvidia Titan RTX GPU ports

The NVIDIA TITAN RTX GPU was created to address applications of a more serious nature, but it will still give that frame rate boost if you are a serious gamer. It sits somewhere between the Geforce and Quadro cards in the Nvidia GPU family. It offers more CUDA cores, texture units, tensor cores and RT cores than the NVIDIA RTX 2080 TI Founders edition.

Memory

There’s Pascal and Volta architecture but this one sports Turing architecture and offers a 9% increase in memory bandwidth over the RTX 2080 TI. A 384-bit memory bus with 24GB GDDR6 video memory operating at 672 GB/s gives a definite boost in performance over its predecessors.

Performance

Titan RTX GPU power connectors

This graphics processing unit delivers up to 130 Tensor TFLOPS, 576 multi-precision Turing Tensor Cores, and 4608 NVIDIA Turing CUDA cores. It also supports up to 24 GB of GDDR6 memory for training with higher batch sizes, processing large datasets and animation models, and managing the most demanding creative workflows. You can also pair two TITAN RTX cards together with NVLink bridge over a 100 GB/s interface to double the memory capacity to 48 GB for highly intensive applications!

Cooling

Cooling has also been updated on this GPU. There are dual 13-blade fans, which produce 3x higher airflow and ultra-quiet acoustics. The full-card vapor chamber is also 2x larger to maximize heat spreading and heat transfer to the fin stack. The TITAN RTX features all new 13-phase iMON DrMOS power supply to deliver more headroom and sub-millisecond power management for maximum overclocking.

Summary

The NVIDIA TITAN RTX can build immersive worlds, stunning characters, accelerate multi-app workflows, and edit 8K video in real-time. Supporting up to 24 GB of ultra-fast GDDR6 memory and more multi-precision Turing Tensor Cores and NVIDIA Turing CUDA cores than its predecessors, this GPU can process data for any professional application.
