The 2U TrueNAS R20 Storage appliance is a flexible hybrid system equipped with 12x 3.5” HDD drive bays and 2x 2.5” SSD drive bays. Designed for demanding applications, its single TrueNAS controller provides high-performance capabilities and supports a maximum raw capacity of up to 2PB, with an effective capacity of up to 4PB using standard deduplication and compression.
The TrueNAS R20 storage system features up to 192GB of memory and supports high-speed connectivity with 2x 100GbE Ethernet ports and 2x 32Gb Fibre Channel ports. Expansion is easy with support for up to 2x TrueNAS ES60 expansion shelves offering 160 additional drive bays. Powering the enclosure, are dual 800W redundant power supplies.
For support, the R20 offers bronze or silver Enterprise options for individual storage solutions, with gold support available for cluster configurations. It also integrates major cloud storage providers such as Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud, BackBlaze, and Dropbox, and provides comprehensive data replication across all TrueNAS systems.
