With support for a single AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX/3000WX series processor, the Supermicro A+ SuperWorkstation 5014A-TT is designed for media and entertainment content creation, product design, engineering simulation, AI, and deep learning. The CPU supports 8x DIMM DDR4 slots for a maximum memory capacity of up to 2TB. 4x internal 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch SATA3 drive bays are available on this system as well as 2x front 2.5-inch SATA3 drive bays. Peripheral bays include 2x 5.25-inch bays. System expansion is achieved via 6x PCIe 4.0 x16 slots found on the system board.
The Supermicro 5014A-TT workstation houses a single AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX/3000WX processor and 8x DIMM slots on its system board. Optional high-performance Closed-loop liquid cooling for the CPU is available ensuring continued performance under extreme load. Ports on the back of the system include an integrated 10GbE LAN port and 1GbE LAN port shared with integrated platform management interface (IPMI). The system is powered by a 2000W Platinum-level power supply unit (PSU).
Fully configured, the maximum memory capacity is 2TB of registered error correcting code (ECC) DDR4 3200 MHz memory modules. In addition to the storage mentioned above, the Supermicro A+ 5014A-TT can also support 4x NVMe M.2 drives on the system board which offers 4x PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. The board mounted M.2 drives can be combined in a RAID of 0, 1, 5 or 10. 2x U.2 NVMe drive slots on the system board also offer RAID configurations of 0 or 1.
